Prenatal Studio Classes
Congratulations on your pregnancy! Welcome to the start of the next phase of your life. Take this special time to reassess how you look after your body and give yourself the optimal preparation for a positive birth experience.
Pilates is ideal for you to do during pregnancy as it is adaptable to the changes that take place when you are growing your baby.
You’ll need pelvic support, strong legs, and an upper body that is ready for the work of carrying, lifting and breast feeding. You will also need time to de-stress, reduce anxiety and learn breathing techniques to keep you calm, centred and grounded.
At Arc Pilates we can offer you studio classes that treat you as an individual and work with your energy levels. The calm, relaxing environment of the studio will leave you focused and refreshed.
As a mother of two children I have personal experience of this wonderful stage of life. I was unaware until I became pregnant of the vastly different experiences women have of pregnancy and giving birth. I wanted to be educated and informed. I had two very positive natural birth experiences. I’m passionate about giving women support and education to empower them to have confidence in their body’s natural ability to give birth.
